My stunning Magenta Smoothie Bowls are addicting, gorgeous, taste insanely delish, oh and they are great for you too! I finally found my Pitaya packs at Whole Foods in the freezer section. I bought one pack of four, but breezed right through them! This time I bought two bags of four packs. I’m sure you have seen dragon fruit in Whole Foods, right?
Pitaya is also known as dragon fruit. It was first discovered in Central Americal centuries ago, but now it’s grown all over. There are so many benefits of eating this gorgeous fruit, here are some:
RICH IN MAGNESIUM – Helps increase your energy. Important for regulating Sodium, Potassium, and Calcium Levels. Also helps relax muscles, nerves, and anxiety; which all lead to better sleep and muscle recovery.
RICH IN ANTIOXIDANTS – Antioxidants help protect your cells against the effects of free radicals that can cause heart disease, cancer, and other diseases.
RICH IN VITAMIN B2 – Vitamin B2 is a water-soluble vitamin. The human body needs a daily dosage of it since it cannot be stored in the body. It plays a major role in energy production and represents an essential nutrient in your diet.
POWERFUL VITAMIN C – Vitamin C benefits may include protection against immune system deficiencies, cardiovascular disease, prenatal health problems, eye disease, and even skin wrinkling.
HIGH IN FIBER – Diets that are high in fiber can help reduce the risks of heart disease, control blood sugar levels, maintain bowel health and normalize bowel movements, lower cholesterol levels, and aid in achieving a healthy weight.
I hope you’ll try this one~ it came out amazing!
