Five books for your fierce little princess
In the last five years of Sasha’s little life, I can’t tell you how many books we have purchased for her! I mean HUNDREDS! Maybe ten toys, but books?? Oh, so many I don’t even think I could give you a round about number! With every book I purchase, I make sure there is some life lesson or something that teaches Sasha to be herself, to be proud of who she is and to always be brave! These five books for your fierce little girl are books we read over and over!
Here are some of the books we have that stood out for me
If you click on the pics, you can get any of these books. I would say the age range is anywhere from two- five years old. I started reading Ladybug Girl to Sasha when she was just one, maybe a little early, but she loved it then and still loves it!

Princesses Wear Pants!
We LOVE Savannah Guthrie and we love her first book! Princess Penelope Pineapple lives in a palace with a closet full of beautiful dresses. But being a princess is much, much more than beauty. In fact, every morning Princess Penelope runs right past her frilly dresses to choose from her beloved collection of pants! I love this about her! She stays true to herself regardless of where she lives and who she is around! Each day she picks a different pair of pants depending on what she needs to do. Whether it’s Yoga or a sequined flying suit or her overalls (SO CUTE), she’s got a pair of pants for it! Your little girl will LOVE how courageous Penelope is in a scary situation! We love that she ends up saving the day…and her wet cat!
Dear Girl is a love letter written for the special girl in your life; I got this book for my little Sasha as a gentle reminder that she’s powerful, strong, and holds a valuable place in the world. All girls should know that they are great. Dear Girl, encourages girls to always be themselves and to love who they are—inside and out.
I love that as soon as LULU has her ladybug costume on, she becomes a superhero! She creates adventures with her friends and brother and let’s not forget BINGO her dog! If you LOVE Fancy Nancy and Pinkalicious, you’ll love LadyBug girl, because she is all about being herself and getting creative!
Rosie Revere, Engineer
Rosie may seem quiet during the day, but at night she’s a brilliant inventor of gizmos and gadgets who dreams of becoming a great engineer. When her great-great-aunt Rose (Rosie the Riveter) comes for a visit and mentions her one unfinished goal–to fly–Rosie sets to work building a contraption to make her aunt’s dream come true. But when her contraption doesn’t fly but rather hovers for a moment and then crashes, Rosie deems the invention a failure. On the contrary, Aunt Rose insists that Rosie’s contraption was a raging success. You can only truly fail, she explains if you quit.
