CHANGES: Woke up on this Thursday morning a whole new person compared to Wednesday! Sasha slept great on Wednesday night, into the morning. She woke up every three hours, which is fine, and slept great this morning. I knew that Fresh Direct would be delivering our groceries by 8:30am, SO I hopped up while Sasha was sleeping to throw on some sweats, then I got back in bed with her. We snuggled for a little bit more, and by 8:30 the door bell rang and Sasha was in my arms, smiling away! AHHHH! I am so thankful for any sleep I get now. As long as I get a good solid 4-5 hours, I can function, anything less, and it’s not pretty in our house. So her sleep patterns are changing because we are making changes. We are getting her on a TIGHT schedule each and every night! Bath at 6:30, Bottle at 7:00, ladybug stars on the ceiling, Pandora playing, and Sasha is swaddled and drinking her bottle. She dozes off by 7:30, burped and put into her swing (new bed) by 7:45. We haven’t skipped a night and I DO NOT plan on it!
Chances: I took a chance and got ready to workout to be at the gym with Sasha (hopefully) sleeping by 10:00am. I usually workout around 1:00 in the afternoon, but lately, Sasha has been up at that time, and I end up quitting my workout or getting distracted by her. Glad I took the chance today- It worked out perfectly! She napped the whole time, and I got my workout out of the way bright and early.
Choices: It’s not easy brining a baby everywhere you go. Sasha is almost 3 months old, and requires a lot of attention. I choose to bring her where ever I go, simply because I want her with me. Doreen who cuts and blow drys my hair told me that it’s so nice that I do that, and I say it’s because I don’t want to be without her. It’s NOT easy to have her at the hair salon for two hours or at the gym for an hour, or to bring her to CVS, but she’s my baby, my daughter, and again, it’s my choice. I choose to have my little muffin with ME!
