Today’s run was called “Terrible Two’s. Two-minute intervals the whole run. In the two segments of running today, I had to play with inclines and speeds. I did this run a little later than usual because little mama started school today! I forgot my heart rate monitor at home, which sucks for me since I depend on that damn thing to tell me where my heart rate is during my runs.
- Push ups
- Ab wheel

Here is what I did in the gym: If you can’t see the videos, go to the website: fitmamag.com
This is a version of push ups that is MOST challenging for me. WHenever I elevate my legs, the movement is harder! Try these!
Barbell bench press
I rushed outta there and went home to shower! I’m not ready to offend anyone with my sweaty gross self after that workout! I hopped in the shower and ran to get my girl and then rushed home to suck down a shake!

Sasha is now in the 4’s program at her pre-school. This will be her third year at this pre-school and she absolutely loves it and is like the mayor of the school! Mario and I have worked so hard to raise an empathetic, fun and intelligent little girl. I hope this year she continues to shine on. Her personality is so magnetic and her smile, well, maybe I am biased but her smile can light up the darkest sky!
The outfit she has on, well you know little girls who are between 3-4 years old. I have no say in what she wears, I just buy her clothes, hang them up and she will tell ME what she wants to wear that day. At her age, I don’t spend ridiculous amounts of money on her clothes for the obvious reasons. Between playing on the playground and painting in class and not to mention how fast she grows, The Gap and Old Navy are great for her. The clothes are comfy, they wash well, and yes, they are so cute! Every now and then, I’ll get her some really cute expensive things from Miller’s in Mamaroneck, but not very often.
This little girl is in Swim lessons now and her first lesson was this past Saturday. She was so amazing! Pam (her instructor) and Sasha got along great and for Pam to get Sasha to put her face in the water speaks VOLUMES about how awesome Pam is with little ones, especially mine! We are thrilled! Gymnastics is back in full swing on Saturday’s once again! This is her second year and she is still loving it! She has the body of a girl who’s been doing gymnastics more like five years! Her quads and hamstrings and shoulders! I just watch her in awe!
